Lufthansa strike and war in the Middle East

A strike by Lufthansa pilots employed by the flagship airline and Lufthansa CityLine has been announced for the period from Thursday, March 12, 2026, 12:01 a.m., to Friday, March 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m.

Flights to the following countries are not affected by this strike: Egypt, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Yemen, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Due to the current situation, we are receiving numerous calls, emails, and refund requests. All inquiries will continue to be processed promptly and professionally, but there may be temporary restrictions in availability or longer processing times.
